Sensory Friendly Performances

At Broadway Center for the Arts, making theater accessible to all audiences is at the heart of our mission. We are proud to offer "Sensory Friendly" performances of most of our productions.  These special shows are specifically designed for individuals and families with special needs, including those who are neurodiverse. These performances ensure that everyone, regardless of their sensory sensitivities, can enjoy the magic of theater in a comfortable and inclusive environment.

By opening our doors to everyone, we create a welcoming space where all can experience the joy and wonder of live theater.

ASL INTERPRETED PERFORMANCES

Broadway Center for the Arts (BCA) is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. To achieve this, we continuously partner with Carol LaCava, a Distinguished Lecturer of the Education Interpreting Program at the University of Tennessee, along with her students and other skilled local ASL theatrical interpreters. Together, we work to ensure that BCA performances are accessible to everyone, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
